Thank you for your interest in having your wedding reception at Cross Creek Café.  In addition to gracious and elegant service, Cross Creek Café provides culinary excellence to enhance your special day.  The following information regarding procedures will help answer questions as we work together to plan your reception. 

Cross Creek Café charges a $500.00 site fee for private use of the Banquet and Garden Rooms for wedding receptions.  If additional space is required, there is a $1000.00 rental fee for private use of the Main Dining Room in the adjacent restaurant. 

​Cross Creek Café can accommodate indoor ceremonies for up to 100 guests.  The Garden Room can accommodate a ceremony for up to 50 guests with a set-up fee of $250.00 while the Banquet Room can handle up to 100 guests at a cost of $500.00.   

A $500.00 deposit is required to confirm the date and time of your wedding reception.  Deposits are nonrefundable less than 180 days before the event.  A payment equal to 50% of the estimated charges is due thirty (30) days before the wedding while the final charges are due twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the event.  Deposits and payments can be made by cash, in-state checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover. 

Cross Creek Café offers a professionally decorated cake with your specifications for size, flavor, filling, decoration and type.  A price quote is available upon request.  However, you may provide your own wedding cake and will be charged a $1.00 per guest cake plate fee that includes not only the cake table but also cutting of the cake, plates and forks. 

Cross Creek Café offers music in the form of a DJ or a live band and can quote you a price based on style of entertainment and number of hours required.  If you would like to use music not contracted through Cross Creek Café, a $100.00 entertainment surcharge is added to the invoice. 

Cross Creek Café does not offer a decorating service but upon request can provide fresh cut floral arrangements and chair covers for the wedding reception at an additional charge.  The client is allowed to decorate for the reception as long as the decorations have been approved in advance and the decorating does not interfere with a previous function.  We ask that nothing be affixed to the walls, floor, ceiling or windows with nails, tacks, staples, tape or any other item that sticks to or penetrates the surface. Additionally, because of fire codes, no candles are allowed.  

​Cross Creek Café provides a complete offering of wedding menus whether you require a plated dinner, buffet or hors d’oeuvres reception.  An Open or Cash Bar with the beverages of your choice is also available.  No outside caterers are permitted.  Due to health considerations, leftover buffet items may not be removed for off-premise consumption.  Please add $3.00 for each guest who would like plated service at a Buffet Reception.  For receptions with no alcoholic beverages, we offer a drink station with wedding punch, iced tea and coffee at $5.00 per guest. 

A 20%  service charge and 8.9% sales tax is added to all food and beverage charges. 

​An agreement stating menu and other particulars will be presented to the client and must be signed and returned forty-five days before the wedding so that an invoice can be presented in a timely fashion.  The final guarantee for guest count is required seven (7) days before the reception so that Cross Creek Café can prepare accordingly.  If no guarantee is made, the anticipated or actual attendance will be charged, whichever is higher. 

White linen on all guest tables and food buffet tables are included in the cost of food and provided at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE.  Should you require tablecloths in a color other than white, please ask for a price quote.  We also offer chair covers in an assortment of colors and fabrics at an additional charge. 

​Staffing personnel for a wedding reception is based on number of guests, menu and beverage offerings.  All functions require one Event Manager at a cost of $150.00 and a minimum of one Attendant at a cost of $75.00.  The cost for a Bartender, if required, is $150.00 and Carving and/or Pasta Station Chef, when necessary, is $75.00.
